Roberta de Paula Martins

 

Prof. Martins holds an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy with a qualification in Clinical Analysis (UFSC, 2010), a master’s degree in Biochemistry (UFSC, 2012) with a research period at the Center for Electronic Microscopy, National University of Córdoba (Argentina, 2011), and a doctoral degree in Biochemistry (UFSC and Macquarie University, 2016). She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Health Sciences, Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina – Araranguá Campus.

“Her  research is focused on inflammatory processes with a focus on inflammasome activation and the role of neopterin in chronic inflammatory diseases.”
